Daily work at PowerItalia – Alfa Mito 1.4 Turbo full service

This Mito turbo is in for it’s 18000 mile full service.

Replacing the oil filter can be tricky to access, So a good selection of tools are required.

2 covers need removing to gain access to the filter.

Once these add off the car you can undo the oil filter cap.

We remove a few intake pipes to make access from the top a little easier.

Ow time for the pollen filter to be replaced. It’s located in the passenger footwell behind the centre console as pictured below.

Remove the plastic covering.

Then simply unclip the cover for the pollen filter.

And out comes the filter.

The proceed to change the air filter ad spark plugs, and carry out the remaining items required.

      Mito’s are great cars, pretty quick too the turbo engine.

  2. yes you show the pollen filter on its way out but you do not show how difficult it is to get one in again
    rubbish design
