Day to day work at PowerItalia – Alfa GT JTDm Cambelt change

Time to change the belts and water pump on Peters Alfa GT JTDm.
All the covers removed and you can see the belt system exposed.
Another angle of the dreaded water pump, this one looks tired.
Belt removed, and you can now see the old water pump. This car has covered exactly 35037 miles and the pump looks like this.
Pump removed, allow the coolant 10 mins to drain and then give it a dry with a nice clean towel before fitting the new pump.
New water pump fitted with bolts cleaned up and 1 replaced. The 6mm hex heads can round slightly, so always replace the bolt if it has rounded.
New tensioners fitted and awaiting the new cam belt.
New belt fitted and car is ready to re-assemble covers and fit new auxiliary belt and tensioners.
