Lloyd’s Brera 3.2 JTS FULL SERVICE

Today we are servicing Lloyds lovely Brera 3.2 V6.

He’s having a full service including spark plugs and brake fluid.

So let’s get started.

Draining oil First.

The oil filter is a paper type, so undo its housing and pull it out complete.

Fit the new filter into the cap and refit.

Air filter replacement next.

Alfa dealers never seem to replace these, which is quite shocking as you can see below.

Refit air box lid and we are moving on to the spark plugs.

The intake plenum needs to be removed completely from the car.

Then from here it’s straight forward coil pack removal and plugs are visible.

Now we will change the brake fluid, this is required every 2 years and should be bleed through all 4 wheels.

If you let the fluid level drop too low when bleeding then air will enter the master cylinder which can be difficult to bleed so keep the level topped up.

That’s it, we haven’t blogged the Cabin filter change as we’ve done so before and it’s the same procedure as the Alfa 159.

You’ll need diagnostic software to reset the service indicator.
